Kitchen (4 hotplates, oven) with dining corner, radio and wood burning stove. Bath/WC. Wood heating. Upper floor: living/sleeping room with 2 beds and DVD. 1 room with 1 bed and 2 x 2 bunk beds. 1 room with 4 beds. 1 room with 3 beds. Gallery with 7 sleeping possibilities. Shower/WC. 2nd upper floor: (steep stair), 1 double bedroom with sloping ceilings. 1 double bedroom with sloping ceilings. 3 balconies, terrace. Box-room. Lovely view of the mountains. The large kitchen heater works as a heater and as an oven. Large dining room. Reception room. There is an electric or wood oven in the bedroom. Hot water boiler in the bathroom. Other outside bathroom. Please note: you must bring your own bed linen and towels, tea towels, candles and lantern. Maximum capacity: 15 people (10 people + 5 extra beds, to be paid for on site).

It is situated in the middle of the imposing mountain pastures of the Hohe Tauern National Park, directly by the Felbertauern Pass (1300 m above sea level), cosy, rustic chalet. Outside the resort, 7 km from the centre of Matrei, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position. Private: natural state grounds. Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue. Motor access to the house. In winter snow chains necessary. Parking by the house. Shop 7 km, restaurant 4 km, outdoor swimming pool 7 km. Golf course 7 km, cable cabin 7 km, skisport facilities 7 km, ski school 7 km, cross-country ski trail 7 km. Please note: car essential. The cottage is perfect for nature lovers, hikers and mountaineers. Austria's two highest mountains, Grossglockner and Grossvenediger, will be at your doorstep. The home owner is an experienced alpinist and will be happy to help you organise your tours. Although you will live high on the mountains, "civilisation" is only a few kilometres away. You should not be afraid of eating eggs straight from the chicken. The house also has a stable with cows, pigs and chicken (except for summer!).
